This is my third year with AirBnb and I have received a booking for a date that I am certain I blocked as unavailable. I have only ever made one cancellation in the past and so it would be my second only. I find that AirBnb will fine me 100USD for this (among other things). Since I have no evidence (only my memory) that the date was blocked out, I can't prove it was.
Is this fine correct? It seems extremely harsh and would be far more than the booking is worth, when it is only my second ever cancellation. What do others find and can anyone explain please?
