security deposit

Hello,

I am new to hosting. I have received my first booking and cannot see the security deposit as part of the fee taken. It is listed on our site for $500 so I am concerned it has not been taken? Please advise. Laurence

Airbnb doesn't actually collect the security deposit from the guest. It only comes in to play if you make a damage claim against a guest through the Resolution Center. Please read up on the procedure because it is very specific.
