I am new to airbnb 

i have a reservation that i have accidentaly cancelled because the rates had somehow been changed. 

How do i rectifyy this and accept the booking for the right place.

You probably meant the right 'price'. A shame you cancelled, this was a perfect candidate to 'Alter' their booking, after discussing the issue with them first.

all good the guest's payment didn't go anyway. airbnb should have a failsafe just in case it happens to new hosts.
