viewing my personal email address

I just had someone contact me through my personal email address, which she said she got from my listing. I called airbnb to see if this is possible and the rep said yes. However, I don't see how to do it myself. The email address from this person did not show an airbnb address as I thought it was supposed to.

I don't know what's happened here but the BnB rep you spoke to is incorrect, guest can only have your contact details once there is a confirmed booking.

Contact BnB again and flag what has happened. There is something not right here.
