when do guests get your address

Im concerned with someone who instant booked my rental and then cancelled the reservation within minutes.  At what point do guests get your address and other information?

At the moment their booking is confirmed, so in this case once they instant-booked. So indeed they may have your address at this point, @Carol-Lee1

Thank you for the answer.  I’m going to take my chances and turn off instant book.  That’s pretty crazy and very unsafe for Hosts.

Just spoke with the airbnb and the guests get the address and other detailed info at the day of the check in and not when the booking has been confirmed.

@Carol-Lee1 It is not the case as indicated by @Michael3172 . Recently I booked a trip to LA. The address showed up in the confirmation email I received from Airbnb, which is about three weeks from my check-in date.

When do people get the lockbox code? And does that appear under "Guest Resources" on the guest end?
