I have been renting an apartment in Lyon 07 on the Air BnB platform since 2018, all year round.
I received a unique registration number from the district town hall before starting my activity.
It has been managed since 2020 in the form of: Non-Professional Furnished Rental. Actual Accounting.
I got a Siret number.
The city's housing department contacted me in 2019 and asked me to fill out a declaration form for the change of function of the apartment. (I think, change from home function to seasonal rental function).
I didn't follow up.
This week, I just received a formal notice to complete this form. And to stop my activity within eight days.
Otherwise, under article L651-2 of the construction and housing code, I may be ordered to pay a fine of €50,000 plus €1,000 per m2 and per day.
My booking calendar is full until the end of Oct. and I can't stop my business.
I will answer kindly. My arguments are that none of the administrations that provided me with the numbers authorizing me to practice asked me to submit a certificate of change of function of my accommodation.
