How did you check whether it is mandatory to have a business license in the state of a vacation apartment or is there a need for tax coordination only? What is the correct behavior from your experience?

All the information I needed was available on the net regarding my obligations for tax registration, registration number for my STR etc.  I went onto official governmental sites and my local town hall to find out what was required.

There are also some great blogs on renting an STR because it isn't for everyone and far harder than you may think.  

Every country is different and every city has its own restrictions so it is essential to do your homework first before listing on any platform.  Legislation is ever changing and you may find that what was possible two years ago is no longer valid today so it's important to make sure that you are viewing up to date information and then double check.
