+100k DOLLARS blocked for 2 months because of an Airlock

Dear Airbnb Community,

This is a genuine cry for help as I have been desperately trying to resolve this issue for the past two months. I've called support, sent multiple emails, and opened numerous support tickets—all without success.

I am a host with over five years of experience on Airbnb. A couple of months ago, I created a new account, but I made the mistake of not adding my payout details immediately. Since then, I have started receiving bookings, but I cannot add a payout method, meaning all my earnings have been blocked for two months.

It seems my account is stuck in some sort of verification loop or restriction ("airlock"), preventing me from accessing my funds or updating my payment details.

I have already tried multiple solutions, including:

  • Updating and re-uploading my documents
  • Changing my two-factor authentication and password
  • Trying to access my account from different browsers and devices

Despite all these attempts, I still cannot add a payout method, and my funds remain blocked.

I am reaching out here in the hope that someone from Airbnb Support or a fellow host who has experienced this issue can offer a real solution. I would really appreciate any guidance on how to escalate this matter and get my funds released.

Thank you in advance for any advice or assistance!

Best,
MARCO

@Chiave-Immobiliare0 I think the root of the problem is that no one is allowed more than one account. However, given that Airbnb sort of allowed you to make a new account and it took bookings and money it does bear some culpability. Unless the likes of @Quincy  can tweak Airbnb to have another look then I suggest the small claims court should get things moving.
