2024 1099-K FORM WRONG, AIRBNB DOING NOTHING TO FIX IT

Once again, for the second year in a row, Airbnb has issued me a 1099K form that is completely incorrect.

They are currently "working on it" but last year they never solved the issue so I don't have much hope.

Let's all keep track here in the hopes Airbnb starts taking us seriously. This is completely unprofessional and ridiculous.

I too, had my 1099K issued wrong one cohost was correct and the other is a little bit off as well. I tried contacting several times and they keep getting closed or I get AI comments. I wonder if it could be 2023 rental periods that were paid in 2024 I haven’t checked that yet but I’m assuming that could be the issue. That would make sense

Same here.  The most annoying part is that their own Gross Earnings Reports don't match what they report on the 1099s.  If they could at least be clear on what exactly is included in calculations....  Obviously they don't have financially experienced staff participating in their software programming or operations management!

Come on AirBnb - it should not be this difficult!

Same issue and its frustrating beyond belief. They issued the 1099 to my husbands personal name, despite the revenue being paid out correctly to our business entity the whole time. The instructions they are sending me to change it no longer work since I removed my husband as a tax payer once I caught their error. Its now been transferred " to a specialized team" who only works via email and they keep sending me the same cut and pasted instructions that do not work, going 5+ days if not a week or two in reply. When I try and open an issue via the app they immediately close it saying I'm "already being supported on another thread so they are closing this one". I open a new one every day and reply to the email every day as well. This has been going on since January. Its over 100K so its not a small amount and I am not sure what to do at this point under 3 weeks til taxes are due.
