Airbnb Host Payments

I am new to CC, although I am a Superhost and have been active ABB host for over 2 years.  Is there any discussion with ABB about paying hosts sooner?  Guests pay ABB a deposit months in advance and then pay in full to ABB but I'm waiting almost a week after guest check-in for my money.  I made the error of booking 2 long term guests (2 and 3 months respectively) at a big discount because to keep some money coming during this pandemic only to find that ABB pays hosts each month (also on a delayed schedule) instead of the total amount due after guest check-in.  Certainly ABB has been paid in full in advance for the multi-month stay.  Now I understand why ABB recommend we hosts do longer term rentals.

Long term guests don't pay fully upfront, they pay by installments, hence your payments are by installments too.

@Karen2382  Fair warning:  if the guests' payment method fails after the first month, the only thing they can do is cancel the reservation from their end. If the guests refuse to leave the property, you've got to deal with that on your own - which could get very complicated if you're in a location where the guests acquire legal tenancy rights after 30 days.

Airbnb is a great product for short stays, but I can't recommend it for long-term rentals.

@Anonymous . Good info.   thank you
