Airbnbs new notification sound is too quiet on iPhone

The Airbnb tech-support people in India can’t understand it. But a few months ago Airbnb changed the notification sound on iPhones, and now it is much quieter and you can’t even hear it most of the time. There’s no way to change it, please everyone tell Airbnb to fix this! Hearing our notifications is the most important thing!

Many of us have  tried for quite awhile to get Airbnb to change the tone back to the original, or change it to something more distinctive to no avail. Apparently they won't (or can't). Please see this thread on possible ways to add the original tone back to your phone (or add your own notification tone). I understand on Android phones you can add your own tone; it's iPhones that are the problem:

As @Joan2709 has said, there have been MANY, MANY hosts that have requested the old jingle back but it seems that Airbnb are not listening.  The response rate for hosts has gone down because of this new inaudible sound (we've been told they've increased the decibel but haven't noticed the difference personally) Just doesn't make sense to penalise both hosts and guests in this way - seems such a simple fix but it's not going to happen.
