Car rental

Hello fellow Hosts,

I have a question that you might have the answer to.

What if I wanted to "advertise" a car rental business close to my listing?

Would it be "safe" (not get banned or something) if I used a message saying: "In case you'll need to rent a vehicle, we know a place to make it easier and cheaper for you.It is called "******" and we would be more than happy if you could mention that you're from our apartments".

If not, is there any safe way to do it?

Thank you!!

@Dimitris211 ,

Advertising might suggest that you are working for the car rental shop.

But if you recommend, that's another thing. As hosts, we are supposed to recommend businesses around our properties, like restaurants, shopping, attractions, bars, museums, hairdressers, etc.

Our guests appreciate our recommendations because it saves them time. However, we ensure that our recommendations are free of interest besides providing information to the guest.

So, to answer your question, if the car rental is a recommendation, go for it. I am sure your guests will appreciate it. But don't advertise and persuade your guests because if something goes wrong with the car rental, it will affect their reviews of your property.

Hi @Dimitris211

I would use Airbnb's Guidebook and create a section titled 'GETTING AROUND,' including places such as public transport hubs, car rental businesses, places to rent bikes, and parking lots, etc
