Co-hosting locations

Hi!

I want to become a co-host and picked a town near my hometown but they aren’t accepting co-hosts in that area. I am now on a waitlist.  I felt I didn’t have many choices and would have picked the entire state? I will co-host anywhere and now want to apply elsewhere. Does anyone have suggestions on how to accomplish this? Thank you!
