Collecting ID information for booking in Greece

Hi

I wanted to know if anyone here is experiencing the same issue I have been. 

The greek tourism office in greece advises all in tourism to collect a copy of passport or ID or at least get their full names, surnames and I’d numbers wich I guess we need to keep encase we are approached (like you would when booking into a hotel) this is what my accountant has said. My problem is that my clients are not sending me these details and I don’t know what else to do to force the matter. I have put the request in my welcome mail, my before check out mail as well.

does any one know what happens if we are not able to collect the details the tourism office requires from us.

@Christina1453   If the law requires that information, just inform guests that you can only provide the means of access to the home (keys, or key codes) after you have received it. Either you or a local co-host may offer an in-person check-in if guests are uncomfortable with transmitting sensitive data online.

Kαλημέρα σας, η υποχρέωση λήψης στοιχείων διαβατηρίου /ταυτότητας για τους αλλοδαπούς και ΑΦΜ για τους Ελληνες  πηγάζει απο τους νόμους και εγκυκλίους που εχει βγάλει η ΑΑΔΕ.Θα πρέπει να έχετε γράψει στους κανόνες του καταλύματός σας οτι τα στοιχεία αυτά θα ζητηθούν κατά την άφιξη.Το συνηθισμένο είναι να ζητούνται κατά τη διάρκεια του check-in. Όπως σας γραφει και ο @Anonymous   οι επισκέπτες αισθάνονται άσκημα οταν ειναι να δώσουν ηλεκτρονικά στοιχεία ταυτότητας κλπ.
Πάντως υπάρχει και κομμάτι στα Ελληνικά, εαν στην αναζήτηση γράψετε: "διαδικασία ενοικίασης στην Ελλάδα".
