Hi
We've had towels back from the laundry with marks on them that were not there when they were picked up, any thoughts what they are?
We are a new business and these towels have only been washed twice. ( @Huma0 shouldn't have told you I was happy with our laundry arrangements!)
They are not blood or tom sauce or curry
@Perry90 I think you need to take that up with the Laundry, particularly if you think it happened there. At first glance I thought it was ‘mouse pee marks’ (having seen the disgusting state of my off white garden parasol when hubby dragged it out of the shed where he had artfully arranged it on the floor for the winter 🙄) However, that is unlikely. Either way, Laundry should either treat and wash again or replace.
Mmm, I have no idea but it's so annoying when the towels are nearly new. If you are sure the marks were not there before, I would certainly bring it up with your laundry service and ask them to try to remove them.
@Perry90 I have the same problem. Any advise for getting out myself would be helpful too, oxy and shout are not removing.
If it is rust, white wine vinegar disipates it ready for a wash
I would think vinegar would be OK on coloured towels, but to be safe I would rub it in the stain then wash straight away
Ok, thanks. I will test it out on something I'm not too fussed about, maybe a face cloth...
@Perry90 We have our own laundry and I check everything when it is brought to us, we dont just do our own laundry we are on the main road so we get local business, I dont want people bringing laundry back to me so thats why I check everything.
My cleaner is good she tells me if we have any stains on our properties laundry.
If I was you I would take it back to the laundry service you use, they will have every chemical available to remove them stains, I do
For me it looks like microplastic / polyquats from cosmetic products like shower gel or shampoo.
During the washing process the microplastic clumps.
Not even bleeching with clorine can remove it (if white).
Please Google for it...
The only thing would be to dye.
