Consistently late payouts...

I am extremely frustrated with the inconsistency of the payouts into my PayPal account. 

Maybe I am missing something... But it clearly states that payouts will be dispersed 24 hours after check in witch in my case is 4:00 pm on all my listings.

In the past this have given me enough time to deposit the funds into my bank before the close of business.

NOW I find the the payouts are consistently late... And in most cases arriving anywhere from 5:02 pm to 7:00pm.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue, and more importantly is Airbnb in violation of their agreement?

We all know that guests pay up front for bookings and pre Covid, funds were released to me 60 days prior to check in...

So Airbnb gets to accrue interests on millions and millions of dollars of OUR money, and then screw us again by late payouts?

It might not be Airbnb’s issue - when this happened to me once, I called Airbnb and they said they did indeed issue the payout on the correct day, but the payout also has to go through clearance on the PayPal/bank side before it gets deposited in your account, so it could be something delayed on that end. I’m not sure how you can prove where the funds are at any given moment, but I wouldn’t be so quick to judge Airbnb as the culprit in this case.

Currently, my payouts get dispersed on the day after checkin, but don’t clear my account until 3-5 days later. I do agree with you that this seems to be later than it used to be, but I’ve adjusted my financial budgeting to compensate.

Just deposit directly to your bank, why add a layer?

Processing times can vary across banks and payment networks based on volume too.

I have bank deposit and my last payment is 8 days overdue....never had a delay in three years prior.
