Hi everyone,
As you may have seen, all of Australia's state and territories are currently free of community spread of COVID-19 except for New South Wales and Victoria. The Western Australian government yesterday annouced that travellers from all states and territories other than the above two states will be permitted to visit for any reason without the need for 14 days quarantine.
The reaction among the host community has been mixed, and some hosts have indicated they will put in place house rules refusing any guests from states other than our own (Western Australia).
My question is whether this is considered discrimination allowing for action to be taken under Airbnb's anti-discrimination policy?
I personally find it reprehensible that hosts would blanketly refuse to host guests from other states and territories when the health and government advice now indicates it is safe to do so.
