Figuring out some problems in the rental properties industry for better solution

I m Marc, Airbnb Super host and Software Engineer, seeking your assistance with an idea I have for creating a rental properties management software.

As software engineer, I am looking for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the management process. I am just starting out and I have nothing to sell.

I’m writing to ask if you would help discussing some of the challenges and problems you face in managing rental properties. I believe that this community would really help understanding the specific needs and pain of the industry.

I have few questions for you so that I can get more information about my solution!

1-How many apartments do you host? How do you currently handle tasks such as scheduling, communication with guests, and handling maintenance requests and cleaning?
2-Can you tell me about a specific challenge or problem you currently face in managing your short-term rental properties?
3-How comfortable are you with technology? How important is ease of use when it comes to a self-check-in and check-out process?

It's not clear from your post. Are you looking for answers to help you develop Airbnb related software (which is what it sounds like from your questions?)

As you know there are lots of companies out there already providing Airbnb management software.
