Get Personal With Your Host and Try to Haggle

This kind of article is why so many hosts are wasting so much time knocking back "cheeky" discount requests.

@Mike-And-Helen0 I see articles like this a lot. I also see those which post "best ABB houses for your next party" and "How to bypass host surveillance at your ABB." There is a lot of bad advice out there.

Unfortunately ABB doesn't make any sort of educational stand to guests on an absolute party ban (some hosts even post here that they are okay with some kinds of parties) or that fee avoidance will get your host delisted, or that outdoor cameras are disclosed and allowed. So until the platform crafts a consistent PR campaign on the actual platform requirements, unfortunately hosts have to educate guests one by one. And as we see from the posts here, that can be met with awkwardness and resistance.

I think the only time guests really understand the "rules" is if and when they become hosts themselves.
