HI. Im Lucy from the UK. I want to connect my mobile app to my email/computer log in.

I don't seem to be able to login on my Mobile app.  It says my mobile number already exists so I can't use it!  It exists cause it is me and I already have an account with room dates booked.   I can't see messages or any of the homes I have booked..  any clues anyone?

Did you get this solved? Sometimes people cannot register on the app as someone registered with their number before it was cancelled with the phone provider and given as a new number. I would contact Airbnb customer support for help regarding this. 

The only other issue I’ve seen as well was when someone’s ex was using their number as they had a shared account.

It sounds like the app might be trying to create a new account instead of logging you into your existing one , this can happen if you accidentally choose “Sign Up” instead of “Log In.” Here are a few steps you can try:

 

  1. Make sure you're clicking “Log In,” not “Sign Up.”

  2. Try logging in using your email address (if you signed up with one) instead of your phone number.

  3. If you're using Apple/Google/Facebook login, try that method again — sometimes the app links it automatically.

  4. Clear the app cache
  5. Delete and install the app again
  6. If you still can’t access your account, it’s best to go to: https://www.airbnb.com/help/contact-us and select “I can’t log in” to get support directly from Airbnb.
