Hawaii Co trying to outlaw hosted vacation rentals.
Aloha fellow hosts in Hawaii Co. it’s imperative that we take action let our city council and legislators know the negative and devastating impact this will have on our economy and on our tourism industry. The hawaii realtors association is also against this legislation and we are looking for local hosts to join and support stopping this bill or addressing the pieces of the bill that amount to “taking” and have those pieces of the proposed bill removed. Please reach out. Super host Dani.

Yes Facebook would be a better place, like @Sudsrung0 suggested; but before you go..
The STRers and the Realtors are against the new anti-STR legislation, and those in the hotel industry?

That's what happened here in Phuket the main economy here is tourism, STR popped up everywhere, It was the hotels who were kicking off, the hotel associations.
It didn't work here in Phuket but it had an effect in Bangkok lots of the condo projects have banned Airbnb, but this is Thailand so no doubt it still goes on in certain places,
I have a condo in Bangkok it's banned there they even have a sign in the reception area "No Airbnb" I was told by other people that do live there it got out of hand people running around noise all night long and doors banging
