Since Airbnb has already got us covered via Air cover, do any of you still buy extra insurance? if yes what type?

Of course @Albert2156 . The Airbnb 'guarantee' is not insurance and as I am sure you have already discovered by reading up on it's T&Cs has many exclusions.  It is no substitute for having your own home insurance for short term lets.

@Albert2156  Airbnb does not already have you covered under Air Cover. It is mostly smoke and mirrors to lull hosts into a false sense of security. While some hosts have had success getting paid for damages, others have not received a penny- it's nothing you can rely on.
