Host South Africa.
- I would like to know if I add our 15% vat on the nightly rate? I am not VAT registered so do not claim the VAT. So should I load Net or Gross with Vat?
- Airbnb advised they would send a verification email to my current address, however, the email was not received? Concerned that something might be incorrect. Email address remains the same since inception.

@Sharon1210 See the following. Basically unless your turnover is greater than R1million you do not register for VAT and should not be charging it. VAT will be charged by Airbnb on their service fee
VAT is now levied at the standard rate of 15% on the supply of goods and services by registered vendors. The tax rate was 14% until 31 March 2018. A vendor making taxable supplies of more than R1 million per annum must register for VAT.
