Hosting in another country, should I get help from a property manager or co-host?

I am new to hosting Airbnb and I have a difficult issue where I am stationed in Japan, but I want to host Airbnb in another country. I was wondering if I should either hire a co-host or a property manager and if it is better to buy the property or find someone who I can pitch my business idea to and sublease their property to guests.
