Has anyone had success filing for unemployment during Covid19?  I have gone to the site to sign up, I have gotten to the last section. It asks for two numbers for my employer. But we are not considered employees of AirBnB but are self-employed instead. AirBnB has no numbers to give me. I have tried twice with them. have tried to call the help number for the State of Michigan Unemployment Office, but they are not answering calls. Has anyone had success?  What step am I missing in the application process?  Thanks for helping!

I think, for unemployment purposes, we are part of the gig economy-like Lyft drivers etc. Is there a way to find out online how Michigan is handling the self employed? I don't think either the fed gov. or airbnb is going to get it together any time soon, the feds are not taking any more applications for the small business loans & airbnb is doing the usual run-around. Like coping with the pandemic, it seems to be up to each state to figure out what to do to help those who are needing it most, best of luck & health, Sally
