How do you manage to get reservations again?

Hi there!
I spend the last 6 months without any reservation due to Covid and the Government restrictions.
Now the situations seem to be a little better, and in a few days we can accept reservations again.
How do you manage to offer a good service and to get good quality reservations?

I want to listen to you, the hosts.

In my country Spain is still "restricted" now (color "orange")

So will it change in the next days ?

After the "lock down" my reservations just started as before, only difference is guests are from NL or from neighbour countries, instead from all over the world. I do not have Instant Book, so can ask several questions first before accepting. I do not accept guests without ID verified or from countries with restrictions (related to Corona). So at the moment also not from Spain.

I turn more requests down then before (if in doubt, i say no).

@Brian829 we have been lucky that we are in the country and of a size that allows families to meet up and have a holiday at the same time as catching up with each other.

The thing we haven't done is  either drop our prices to attract guests or raise them to try and make up for lockdown. The former might attract poor guests, the latter would make us uncompetitive and lose bookings.
