I live out of the US, what's the best way to get my payout?

Hey all, I would really appreciate having some advice. I host a property in Guatemala, all is great, but have had an incredibly hard time trying to get my money into my bank account. 

This is what I do:
1. Get my payment through Paypal
2. We don't have Paypal in Guatemala, so I opened a US Bank account
3. I transfer my Paypal balance to my US Bank Account

However, since I am out of the US, it is very hard to manage the bank account from another country. 

I am curious how people out of the US manage their payouts. Is there a better way to do this?

Did you happen to reach out to Airbnb Customer Support or decide on a suitable payout method?

Maybe you can register your bank account in Guatemala directly with AirBnb?  That is what I did with my Mexican bank account.

I recommend either setting up direct bank transfers to a Guatemalan bank account (by obtaining your SWIFT and IBAN codes from your local bank) or using Western Union for easier international transactions. Both methods have their pros and cons in terms of fees and convenience, so consider which aligns best with your needs.
