Inaccurate Special Offer pricing

Can anyone from the team here advise me on this?

Seems the pricing has been askew on Special Offers. I thought it was yesterday but couldn’t be 100% sure as I didn’t screenshot the offer I sent.

i did one today and I have no idea what the guest is paying because all I’m seeing  is the original price minus Guest fees and it shows guest pays same as host earns. I highly doubt AIRBNB is only taking $73 on a $2300 stay.

In addition, I entered $2200 for accommodation including cleaning fee the first time.  And this is the screen that showed. The calculations do not correspond at all!

So I withdrew the offer and sent another for $2100 including accommodations and the same screen is showing.

So now, I have absolutely no idea what the guest is going to pay or what the payout will actually be.

This is highly confusing and I’m not a newbie. How are we supposed to provide an accurate Special Offer?  I have a feeling I may have sent something too low and I won’t know unless the guest accepts. Or it’s still showing the regular price and they won’t accept like the one yesterday.

@Normen0

There is a bug in the special offer feature. t has been mentioned in other threads here too But the guest will see the special offer you have sent and can accept it.

If you try to retrieve what you  have sent, you will see the normal prices (For example mentioning "14% monthly discount" is nonsense in a special offer)

All very confusing not being able to see the special offer you have sent. Make a screen shot before you sent it.

BTW host fee is 3% + VAT, so $73  is not unrealistic value.

(Please note a special offer must include the cleaning fee in the total price).

@Emiel1 Thank you. I searched a few Special offer threads and didn’t find this. Just needed confirmation that I’m not crazy. I’m fairly confident that calling CS would be a waste of time.
