July 4th. Any thoughts?

Is anyone hoping for a good Fourth of July?

Are you pricing it like last year? Discounting?

What about your summer week-ends?

While it isn't a date that's relevant on this side of the pond*, I can't imagine hosting will be anything like it was by July, especially for those of us who offer rooms (versus entire places). I hope to be proved wrong, @Paul154

Edit. Erm, apart from the fact it's my wedding anniversary (which I hadn't forgotten).

Hmm, for a date three days after Canada Day? Don't know, @Paul154 .

I closed my calendar to July 15 and am considering closing the entire summer but will wait to see how the reopening of the province unfolds. However, if I were hosting on my own country's big day, or, like you, on @Gordon0 's wedding anniversary, I would keep my price up. Those who cannot afford to travel as usual, I think, will not travel at all. Those who can afford it, will come anyway.

I have nothing to base that on. I think I just don't want to give discounts.
