Missing payout due to taxes

So Airbnb have been withholding my payout for NO REASON. I have hosted 19 times and so far got paid once. I haven’t got paid for 2 months now. I have spoke to at least 10 agents and escalate to a “specialised team” 8 times and NOTHING CHANGED! 

Their reasoning: I am missing tax form…. They kept asking me to fill in US tax form. I AM CANADIAN and listing is in Canada. How am I supposed to fill in US tax form when I am not from USA.  

Really considering taking legal action.

@Bhumika, you are based in Canada aren't you?

Would you please ensure this matter is resolved for @Fiona876 because you are in the same Legal Jurisdiction as her and may we assume you are versant with the relevant laws of Canada to see where the problem has arisen.

It's yet another problem for an AB B consumer that has surfaced with Template and Platform changes.

Honestly it’s not a tax problem. It’s a problem in the Airbnb system that they refuse to fix. No one in Airbnb know what they are doing.

Couldn't agree more with you @Fiona876 

They don't seem to think things through very well  with there 'systems' and legal rights enshrined for those of us NOT in the USA.
