@Cathy813  Personal contact details are not allowed in this forum.

I'm not sure what you believe Airbnb can do for you here though. They're not going to get involved in a dispute with your HOA. If you're not allowed to do Airbnb rentals, any further bookings you take will be in breach of contract, so it would be advisable to deactivate your listing and cancel any outstanding reservations.

Hello @Cathy813

If your HOA has decided going forward residents can't do STRs then as you have already done you need to speak to a lawyer specialising in HOAs to see if there are grounds for this to be over-ruled if you want to continue hosting. If one hasn't responded then they clearly don't need the business so look elsewhere. (Are there are people doing STRs in your building - if so why not get together and provide a collective response).

You will also need to contact Airbnb to ask them to cancel any up and coming booking and snooze your account until you find out whether you can continue.

The only thing Airbnb will be able to do  is help you cancel upcoming bookings. Disputes between HOA and property owners is between you as the person who runs your STR business and the HOA.

@Cathy813  Three out of the nine reviews you've received are among the worst I've ever read.  Even if your HOA has asked you to cease and desist, I infer that Airbnb isn't too happy with you, either.  I'm sure that if you keep trying you'll find a lawyer somewhere who would consider touching your case...
