New Winter release just came out today!

Have you looked at the extra features/rooms that can be added on the photo tour page?  They are visible when you go onto the PLUS sign and you select "add a room or space" then you have a list of extra amenities like:

*Home theatre

*Hot tub

*Full kitchen

*Private deck that you can say if it is shared or not

and many more options


And you can add photos to these new rooms that you have created

I will have to go back in and look at possibly doing that. I just scrambled to correct what the tour had done orginally - it took photos of vineyards and put them as my exterior - and such. Once I got it all corrected, I honestly did even go back and try it again.

I went back and took a look at it - and that didn't really help me. The options are all standard rooms. Also I have  a HUGE issue with listing my Jacuzzi as a hot tub- there is a BIG difference. I paid 20,000 for a Jacuzzi and don't want it listed as a hot tub.  

The more I play with the features of the update, the less I am liking the platform all together.  

The fact I can't go back to the old platform is really making me take a deep look as to whether I continue to use it. 

They used to be one of my top booking sites, but they have fallen way down on the list now.

How do I undo photo tour- that is not good for my suites at all - and does it post it immediately? If so I am going to have to take the listing down and redo the page - I shoud have never did the new option. I guess I am going to have to unload my pages and rebuild them back to the old version. Not good.

I think the photo your function is only working in the US @Joelle43 

I set mine up as part of the early testing group and it's not showing on my listing .

Hi @Joelle43 I've just gone onto your listing as a guest and can't see your new photo tour just the standard photo display - what a stunning place you have by the way - have book marked it 😀 

I know as hosts we can set it up in the back end but I thought on the webinar about the winter release Brian said it was only displaying for US hosts  on their listing.

@Helen3 For me Your listing is showing up with the photo tour.  So whilst the first five pictures show as usual, when I click on one of your photos, then I get the tour by room.  Do you want a screen shot?

Have just gone in they must be doing live updates - it definitely wasn't working earlier this morning -  but now when I click my first image the photo tour comes up . Thanks again @Joelle43

I watched Brian's video again and I believe that it's the Smart Lock feature which will only be available to US hosts.

You are right @Joelle43 it's the smart lock - I knew  it was one of the features that was US only 😃😀😃. 

a spring weekend in Cannes would be perfect I'm definitely interested you have furnished it beautifully.

Sorry me again but the edit button is not working today on the CC.  I've just gone onto your listing and it's showing with the new photo tour.  Looks fab!

I think it's a great direction @Joelle43.

The listing editor with the option to showcase your photos room by room shows up on my listing, but it doesn't work @Bhumika.

When I click on "Showcase your photos by room, instantly," nothing happens.  I hope it will be functional soon.

I like virtually everything else about this release.  But I miss one thing.  Under "Earnings," it gives you the month's total.  But it no longer gives you the year's total or the number of nights booked.

I use the year's total in a spreadsheet I keep that shows me where I stand vis-a-vis other years.

For instance, given the slow booking patterns of this year compared to the last few years, I was glad to have my spreadsheet.  It showed me that my earnings, nights booked, and nightly rate are actually up over 2022.

But I have to download data to find that out.

Another thing I miss is the note about when the listing was last updated.  I get busy, but like to update my listing frequently.  The "last updated" note that used to appear under the listing title was helpful.

I would give the release 5 stars overall  - with a lower star in the category of "functionality," given that some data important to many hosts I know has disappeared.

I have never found that the stats for nights booked were correct for my listing - I wish they were because  they were way over the number of days guests actually stayed so never relied on the figures showing up under Performance and Occupancy.

However, regarding the information on annual earnings, if you go to the monthly graph under Earnings, you will see a line just underneath Year to date Summary and it will show you your Gross earnings with all fees, commissions paid etc. I think the Cleaning fee has been included in the earnings as it's no longer showing separately on this particular page.

I hope your listings get the photo tour shortly!  There's a Feedback button you can use to tell CS of this problem too
