Not recieving text messages from Airbnb

Good day everyone.

 

I have been attempting to change my payment method on my account since last week. At the moment I am stuck, because Airbnb keeps asking me to secure my account via text message, but anytime I press the send a text button, the texts are not received. I know my number is correct as I have received text messages from AirBnb before, informing me of messages received and so forth. Any time I attempt to contact Airbnb via  "contact us" the same message appears, I press the button, but no text.

 

I am effectively locked out of my account. I have just uploaded a new property to my account and would like help resolving this issue.

Often the problem with a phone number has something to do with the way you enter the country code. It bothers me that you say you successfully received text messages from Airbnb in the past. However, it's probably still worth fiddling around with the country code to make sure the format is correct for this site.

Thank you....I just received a text message, telling me you have responded to my Query. But still awaiting the verification code to verify its me using my account. I doubt it has anything to do with the area code, I will give them a call tomorrow.
