Old listing has a new government registration number

I unlisted for a couple years during the pandemic but decided to dust things back off and get my listing active again. I had to go through a new registration process with my city, but I finally got approved. However, Airbnb seems to think that my city denied my application. There's no way for me to update my listing with the new registration number. I've contacted support about half a dozen times, and they just keep telling me that the city denied my request, or else they forward me to a team that never responds. Has anyone else encountered this?
