In a cottage or vacation home, secondary suite, or coach house in rural areas other than villages
I'm not clear from the above rule as to how to find out if a certain 'cottage'is not located in a village.
The link below seems to offer a better answer in terms of which zoning areas can be used (nearly all Rural properties seem to qualify) for short-term rental purposes:
Kindly please provide clarity in terms of how to find out if a certain property can be purchased as an investment property / cottage for short-term rental purposes without having to declare it as a principal residence.
