Payment

I have been told that I was over paid back at the beginning of covid when 100% of ALL of our bookings were refunded due to covid. I am sure all of you experienced  a huge amount of difficulty back then. We are still experiencing this being in Bali. I have had a limited amount of bookings this year, obviously due to Bali not being ready to receive Guests totally, however my main issue is  I have been told that I owe over USD700 for being over paid when Guests were refunded. I have provided my bank statements to verify that we certainly have NOT received any payments that the Guests were refunded , and I have have also received a minimum amount of funds  since December 2021 and those payments are nowhere to be found either.. No record of them anywhere- I have escalated this with Airbnb and keep getting nowhere with this. How can I possible speak to someone who can actually   provide actual proof of this so called over payment , show me where my payments since December are  and the amounts owing ,and assist with this issue . This is so disheartening as we have been unable to receive Guests for 2 years and still paying ALL of our staff full wages in Bali to keep the Villas open, and to finally receive a couple of bookings , and now to have to fights for my payments and provide proof back 2 years ago and not have a Airbnb representative  gibe the time to this. I am appalled to say the least!

@Lisa25 Clearly the last thing you need is this level of Airbnb incompetence. If the debt is real they really should be able to inform you which booking/payment it relates to.

Perhaps try contacting Airbnb via Twitter. Apparently it can occasionally give better results.

Just one thought - Did you get paid for ANY guests who didn't show up? It may be that they subsequently cancelled claiming Extenuating Circumstances which might trigger a refund from you.

Thank you so much for your feedback.I am having to go back through bank statements to verify ALL payments .
