For the first time ever, we did not relive a payout for a reservation. It’s a substantial sum of over £3600. On contacting air numerous times, with no response, I finally got someone on the phone, they advised it had been sent and I should contact my bank. My bank advised that was nonsense, the onus was on the sender to check out non payment. After more days of contacting air, with them constantly claiming they had sent the payment, it was up to me to contact my bank and that it would be passed to someone who would deal with it, I then got an email to advise that I had funds awaiting payment but they had no bank details. When I checked, they had cancelled my payout details and advised I had to enter new payout details. I did so but kept getting refused. Finally managed to enter the same bank account details that they already had and was advised it would take at least five days before they would be accepted. It seems to me that they are avoiding paying. I have another booking via air in a few weeks but I simply can’t afford to be not paid again. It would make their indebtedness over £6000. Any advice would be great fully received.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry that happened to you. It is possible that Airbnb received a fradulent credit card. They have outsourced all their customer service to India and it's really frustrating to get a hold of someone who you can actually talk to. Remember you have plenty of other hosting companies to choose from.
Unfortunately it’s nothing to do with fraudulent credit cards. It’s just air not making a payout. It looks like it’s a deliberate action to but them extended credit. They were paid by the client ages ago and have created a non payment situation.
I’m from Türkiye. I’m a super host. Last 2 months I’m waiting for my payout. Already 5 guest was in my apartment. They have no complaints to me. The was very happy with my apartment. Unfortunately Airbnb support team just fun with me. My payout almost 1200 USD. I was contact with my bank. Thy said my account no problem. If sender send money, it will deposit to my account. I was asking to Airbnb support team to give me sending details with bank documents. But they said wait. I’m sorry to say, Airbnb support team nothing to do for me.
Sounds much the same problem I face. From the numbers claiming the same thing, it looks pretty much like Airbnb are using Hosts money to bolster their finances. If they can hang onto even a small percentage of payouts for an extra 30 days, they will make tens of millions of £/$/€ in interest each year. It’s a pretty disgraceful business model. They know they are pretty safe doing this, as individuals would get nowhere taking legal action against a multinational.
I was asked to Payoneer. The was asking my address prof document. I was send send my utility bill. After one day all of my money come in my account.
FYI, this may help shred some light where matters with Payments has likely arisen for many of us, when changes are made to Platforms they screw up other areas of it that were in harmony.
