Are there any hosts here who have properties under Epping Forest District Council's control, who have started doing AirBnb after March 2022?  If so, can you please message me back regarding:

1) Have you applied to EFDC for planning?  If so, can you please message me the link on the EFDC planning portal for your application?
2) If you applied, were you granted permission?
3) How much did it cost?
4) How long did it take to get planning approval?

You can find the link to the local planning portal on your county or local government website @Ayshe-At-Bliss-Vacation-Rentals0 

They can advise you on costs of submitting an application and how long it may take to get a decision on whether your application is likely to be approved. 

this is an international community so I think it's unlikely you will find a host here that has the experience you are looking for.

Thank you Helen, very much appreciate your reply with information.  I cannot find any information on my local authority's website and when I contacted them, they wanted £400 to give me information.

I am hoping to connect to LOCAL TO ME, ie Hosts under Epping Forest District Council area, who have already applied and/or obtained planning.

How very odd a two second search on Google comes up with the planning portal on your local government website as I suggested in my initial post. @Ayshe-At-Bliss-Vacation-Rentals0

it has comprehensive information there on the process for applying for planning permission.

£400 is the fee for submitting your application

I thought I had posted under the Local Hosts Group :0(  The link took me to the same place as where I am posting this message.

I am puzzled that no one has actually responded saying they had applied/obtained planning from EFDC when there are a great many hosts on Airbnb in the EFDC area?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
