Problem with taxes

It turns out that Airbnb is unable to remit the taxes collected to the city because the city has not provided a number for the tax deposit. And for this reason, Airbnb has suspended my payments. I should point out that I went to city hall for this problem and surprise, surprise, they have no more information than me, but have promised that they are working on the subject.

What can do to solve this issue? Is anyone has more informations for me?

I had a look at your listing and I can see that it's in Ontario, Canada so I'd like to invite some hosts from the area to see if they can offer and support and advice on the tax situation.

You can also refer the city to Airbnb's City Portal and ask they to contact Airbnb to get this worked out:

Perhaps one of the other Hosts in Canada will chime in here...
