Hi Everyone,
I have a studio type room with ensuite that is attached to the main house via a hallway which has a door we can lock, it also has its own external entry door. I am looking at getting insurance to cover as we are hoping to Air B & B it out sometimes. My NRMA insurance that we have been with for 35 years advised me my home & contents policy will become null & void once i commence Air B & B.
I would like to know if any Insurance company includes public liability ? not just the usual damage etc as i am not so much worried about the damage as i live in the property, however i am concerned if someone slips over & hurts themselves, i need to know that i will not be sued. My home is a beautiful new home built in 2023 & I need to know i am covered for this too, just in case.
Thanks in advance.
Marita
