Question about ABNB'ing a rented place in Seoul, South Korea

Hi,

I am interested in renting (Wolsa) a place in Seoul in Gangnam, and ABNBing it while I'm away for school or travelling, Was wondering if anyone had any services in Seoul that can manage it, as well as any guidance and knowledge on the matter.

Thank-you

Hi @Faraz16

I would start by checking with local government in your location to see if they're any STR restrictions.

if it's an apartment check with your landlord /apartment management to see if they have any restrictions in the lease against STRs

i think there's a Seoul host group so you could post there and ask for recommendations for a local superhost who can help you manage your listing .

Another option is to hire a co-host who lives in Seoul and can manage your property on your behalf. They can handle tasks such as guest communication, check-ins, cleaning, and restocking supplies. You can find co-hosts on platforms like Airbnb, or you can use dedicated co-hosting services like GuestReady or BnBHero.
