I own 3 apartments, but I do not officially pay taxes, because I am 18 years old and a student, can I not provide tax information and receive funds normally. Also, advise how to get more reservations on airnb
@Maksym21 This is the first time I have heard of a country that doesn't charge tax based on a persons age or educational status. Are you sure you are exempt from paying tax no matter what your income?
if my income is not bigger than 7k per month i can avoid it, i received this information from my lawyer. So will i receive money from reservations if i don`t give any information about tax payments
@Maksym21 If you don't give Airbnb your tax info then they may withhold tax from you or withhold all your earnings. If you do give them the info then they will not withhold tax but they will inform the tax authorities how much income you have received. If your lawyer is correct (still seems odd to me) then you will be OK. If he is wrong then you will have to pay tax.
i`m from poland
I looked at the Poland tax laws and don't see any exceptions based on age or income.
Taxation of rental income
As of 2023, the rental income is taxed only as a lump-sum tax on recorded revenues (8.5% rate for revenues below PLN 100,000 per year and 12.5% on the surplus over PLN 100,000). This means that the total rental income will be taxed without the right to deduct costs of earning income (e.g. maintenance costs, utilities).
