Question on payment plans

Hi, I am a new host. I received a request from a guest to pay 50% when booking and the rest before arriving. He indicated that he was able to do this before with other bookings. I have checked on my host options and I do not have that option. I have tried to find out if this is possible, and saw some comments back from 2018. Not sure if this option is available and what do I need to do as a host to enable this?

@Sandra4509 AFAIK this is something Airbnb enables, at their discretion, not the host. The guest should contact Airbnb if they want to know more.
