Refunds across different listings

Refunds across different listings

Hello has anyone experienced this issue I am having with Airbnb.   I have a home in Europe and another in Asia.  My income is paid into different bank accounts in local currency and I pay tax accordingly.  40% in EU vs 15% in Asia.

However I recently refunded a guest in Europe and the deduction was made from a future reservation in Asia.  When calling Airbnb CS I explained that it should be deducted from future reservations in Europe not Asia - the reason being income tax is completely different in both countries.  If I get income in Europe say 1000 € and refund 500 € I should get less income on my next reservation in Europe and pay less tax on income.  ( I should be paying tax on 500 €)

As a result I am getting a deduction on income in a different country and in which I pay half the tax.   I dont even know how to explain this to my accountant or inland revenue.    Does anyone have any insight or experience with his.?

Any input would be highly appreciated.
