I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the current legal status of short-term rentals in WNY NJ. I am considering investing in expanding my property by adding another room to use for Airbnb hosting. However, I am concerned about the legality of short-term rentals in the area and its potential impact on my ability to repay the bank loan.

Engaging in Airbnb hosting has been a wonderful experience for me, as it has allowed me to connect with people from around the world and share unique experiences. Nonetheless, I am committed to adhering to all relevant rules and regulations. It would be disheartening for me to have to halt my operations due to unknowingly violating any laws.

Furthermore, I am interested in learning whether Airbnb offers a platform or legal assistance for hosts who are navigating legal challenges in cities where short-term rentals are not yet fully legalized. I am keen on supporting efforts to establish the legality of Airbnb in such areas.

Any insights and guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Thanks for the info! I'm not impacted by New York rules and regulations because I'm in New Jersey, specifically West New York. The name can be confusing, but it's advantageous because we're right across from Manhattan.

Rentals shorter than 30days in West New York, NJ have been banned since 2018. You are free to STR's as long as you require a 30 day rental.
