Sacramento, CA Applying for STR issues

Hello,

anyone in the Sacramento area having issues trying to apply for the STR (short term rental) on their properties. I keep getting the run around with answers or request for the building and permits dept. If anyone out can help answer some questions or has filed/applied and approved please advise. Thank you.
