Securing Additional Services (ie. Private Chefs, Catering, etc)

Good day Hosts!

I am currently trying to secure some partnerships with Private Chefs and Catering services to add additional value to my vacation rental.  So far no luck since I just got hung up on or they say they're too busy. Is anyone currently going through this or has anyone been successful in securing these partnerships for their rental properties?

I'd love to know and if there's any advice you can provide for myself and others in this same situation

Hey Rodney, I saw your post, as I am a Private chef for Airbnb experiences. Not sure if you're still looking but I'd love to chat.

I am private chef and caterer in Texas although I do travel to surrounding states thats connected to TX.  I too wish Airbnb vrbo etc would have option for services like mine and others. However they do leave that for the host to be more engaged with local sources.  I have over 25yrs+ in Hospitality and Toursim I do understand personal services.

I have many local clients who have airbnbs, lake cabins etc...I get booked mostly by referral. there is not agency that does this. However there many plateforms for services to link into- but this takes away our profits and I don't like the one where I cannot speak to the guest itself.

I would suggest...research your area for personal chef services or privater chef carterer.

It is true Local ones who may have time to do this may indulge in it. Not many will do it as prime commintment due the volume and consistienty.

Example of my services : Vacation multi stays can include shopping for guest are new to area and or need essentials that may need for vacation time. planning menus shopping prepping cooking lite clean up transportation and accomadations (yes at times)

I have had multi stay clients, and I have 1x events at airbnbs and I have had 1x stay overs. It all depends on what is going and How good your Chef is at handling things.

I suggest some if they want a platform to go to...look up Eventective...I have been on this for over 12yrs. I don't need to advertise much or push. I get way more leads and hires than I do reviews ..due to I don't do much social media stuff.

Airbnb I would love to offer my services to the EAST TEXAS REGION AREA.

If you want to market your services to those who run short term rentals in your location - it's like any other business .  @Kat15091

1. Do your market research to identify hosts you see as your target market

2. Invest  in an advertising and promotional campaign to drive traffic to your marketing channels such as your social channels you mention you use

3. airbnb's core purpose is as a marketing platform for short term rental owners . It's not there to provide an advertising platform for those wanting to market their services to hosts
