Short term rental addendum

Hello all--Where I live in PA, my borough has banned short term rentals for our area, but all other boroughs surrounding us are allowed to do short term rentals. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and what did you do to about it? This didn't just happen, it happened two years ago, so when I reached out to the borough about a year ago, they said they would keep my name for when the next meeting is brought up about rentals in our area. Has anyone got an attorney involved in getting this back to the way it used to be? (being able to do short term rentals) or how would you go about it? THANKS!

Hi @Leroy-M-Jr-0 That sounds like a challenging situation. Zoning and regulation issues can be really tricky, especially when neighboring areas have different rules.

Have you considered connecting with other local hosts to see if there's a collective effort you could join or start? You could also check out our Local Host Clubs to connect with local hosts who might also be able to share information with you.
