State Sales Tax

Hello, new to Airbnb and wondering how I figure out what the state sales tax amount is for each transaction as I have to send that to our accountant? I know it's included in the occupancy tax but need to know the exact amount.

@Heidi778   I assume that you know what your State Sales Tax percentage is.

Add up the nightly rate for the number of nights that your guest is in residence.  Add the amount of any fees that you charge, like cleaning, pets, etc.  Multiply by the tax percentage.

Conversely, you can send all of the csv files that AirBnB provides you with to your accountant and have him review them for the State Sales Tax.
