Aircover, if they can't take the money out of the guests they won't give you anything. I guest broke an accent char valued $300.00, but the guest denied it, even though I proved them that he did.... Aircover didn't pay me anything, Airbnb's rep said that the guest didn't want to pay for it, that was the end of the story.... Yesterday, we experienced a storm here in Houston, which resulted in a power outage at one of our properties. Airbnb contacted me, stating that since I am unable to provide essential amenities like electricity, they will cancel the reservation on my behalf and that Aircover will protect the guests. However, I pointed out that Aircover isn't protecting anyone. If Airbnb cancels the reservation and refunds the guests, they effectively stayed for two days but only paid for one night. Therefore, Aircover does not exist in practice. Additionally, the payment for the new reservation will be deducted from the refund they are issuing. Airbnb's Aircover is a joke.
